Astronomy Linux

Astronomy Linux is a free GNU/Linux distro targeting amateur astronomers. It is created by the Astronomy Linux Team which consists of: Alexey Liapidevskyi, Dragos Calinescu, John Duchek, Miguel Gomes, Oleh Malyi, Patrick Chevalley, Paul Leyland. Astronomy Linux is derived from Ubuntu, and includes several astronomy related programs out of box such as: Virtual Moon Atlas, VStar, Virtual Planet Atlas, Stellarium, Celestia, KStars. The project is currently in beta stage.
